What can I say?

I love my job! I love the children that I teach! One girl, Anika, that is in my class is slowly making it to the top of my favorite kid list and this is why: So, I try to keep contact with the parents on a daily basis(try is the key word) and I genenrally email Anika's mom on a daily basis. Anika says the best things and I can't help but laugh out loud. The other day she was in the bathroom and she said, "I am as hot as a rainforest!" What the? Or one of my favorites was when I asked the kids if a particular picture was a vehicle or not and in her best loud voice she replied, "NO, IT IS NOT A BEHICLE!" Love it! I always tell Anika's mom the great things that come out of her mouth because if I love them, chances are, she will too. She told me that this morning as Anika was getting ready she said (and I quote)"Megan is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!" Thank you, child! You have now moved up the list to become star student! Hey, isn't it true that child never lie??? I just think this further adds to the fact that I am and will always be a beautiful woman! Thank you, Anika for recognizing that it totally made my day!
