Megan saved Rick Springfield's life from sudden death!

Yes, it's true. Megan the marvelous from Magna, Mississippi miraculously saved Rick Springfield's life from sudden death when he tripped on someone's stray hand and he started to plummet toward the neck of his guitar which would surely pierce through his heart and cause severe bleeding. Fortunately Megan's hand was there to hold him up. Her heroic act of bravery will never be forgotten and Rick will always remember his one true love!

Proudly Presenting

Megan Keeney would like to announce the arrival of her new car: Greta! Greta is a 2002 Toyota Camry with four tires, doors, a radio with CD player ,tape deck, and a cool little gadget to lock and unlock the car. Greta has already brought so much joy into Megan's life. She just can't describe the way that Greta makes her feel. Greta came at a time when Megan was feeling much sorrow over the loss of Stella. She was able to find closure in Stella's passing and rejoice in Greta's mobility. Megan couldn't break from tradition and purchase a red, blue or even a black car---it had to be WHITE!! Greta was inducted into the White Car Club on Februrary 10, 2008. It was a proud moment for Megan! Greta's hobbies include: listening to Feist, Snow Patrol, and Bonjovi while cruising around town. She also loves to bake banana bread. We welcome Greta with open arms and look forward to many years of uninterrupted driving and super fab road trips!

Everyones Gonna Love......

One word: FABULOUS!! The Mika concert was outstanding. After standing outside for two teeth chattering hours and wondering if Mika was actually going to play for us or just do his sound check the whole time--He came through with flying colors . Apparently, our boy here and his band forgot some of their instruments--silly rabbit! SO, they rented a few, but still did most of the concert accousticly! His insurance company told him to cancel. I am so glad that he didn't. He was wild and danced across the teeny tiny stage like a madman. I especially loved it when he would run his fingers through his sweaty hair, only to have it stick straight up! He played all the greats: Grace Kelly, Lollipop, Billy Brown, Everyone's Gonna love today etc. But, Big Girl You are Beautiful was left off the roster! I was a bit sad about that. He loved the crowd and told us(in his adorable British accent), "I thought this was going to be a mess, but it's been so much fun!" "We are going to have to come back to Salt Lake City, You are so loud!" All in all it was an insanely wonderful concert and I would certainly pay to see Mika again!

In Honor of President Hinckley...

Full name

Gordon Bitner Hinckley

Born
June 23, 1910 (1910-06-23) (age 97)
Place of birth
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States
Died
January 27, 2008
Place of death
Salt Lake City, Utah, United States

“The time has come for us to stand a little taller, to lift our eyes and stretch our minds to a greater comprehension and understanding of the grand millennial mission of this, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.”

( Conference Report, Apr. 1995, 95.)

President Hinckley was the fifteenth president of the church and holds the record for dedicating the most LDS Church temples and has dedicated more than half of the current LDS Church temples. He was the oldest person to preside over the LDS Church in its history.

President Hinckley was truly a great example. I can't believe he's gone. As a child, I remember many of the prophets before their passing. I don't recall any being so vibrant and brilliant up until their passing like President Hinckley. This is a sad day. President Hinckley, you will be truly missed. Thank you for sharing your light with us.

So sad.....

How tragic is this? I don't know if the cause of his death was accidental or not, it still is really sad. I think we should watch "10 things I hate about you" in honor of Heath. Then, afterwards, we can remember all the good times that we had we Heath.
"There was this was time that Heath and I"..........
It reminds me just how short and unpredictable our time on earth is. We never know when Heavenly Father is ready to call us home---do we? Enjoy the time we have. I love all the Beautiful Women for making me feel beautiful whenever I am around them!

Apodictic Gymnastics Meet...

Guys,
Love this picture. I'm pretty sure Camille is drunk. Well, at least I am... Ok, for family members who might be reading this... I'm joking. But at least admit we look drunk. :)
So the meet was fun! Hey guess what? We saw a pedestrian get hit by a car! Can you believe that mess?! The guy that got hit was on the hood of the car for about 10-15 feet. The Dude that was driving totally drove a way. Of course we called the police and there were about 50 witnesses... but hey, whatev. Crazy, huh?!
Well, Beautiful Ladies Unite... Heya Painted face drunk ladies... AND... Go Utes! :)

Stella is dead

May she rest in peace. January 15, 2008
Stella died on her way to an appointment. She decided to give up the ghost while her driver, Megan, was driving southbound on 700 East. She left this earth with a few cachunks and then she went peacefully through the red lights (as her brakes had also gone out!). Her driver, however, left a nice surprise in her underpants. Stella's demise was completely unexpected and untimely! She was a good car and will be missed by all those her knew her--Harley, Mona, and Howlie. Boo! Hoo!
Her driver is still mourning her passing (and cleaning her underpants) and would appreciate a phone call of sympathy, flowers, chocolates, a ride to work, money to buy a new car etc. She and Stella shared many many fond memories together--like the time when they were reunited (and it felt so good) after some unknown person took her for a joy ride. She was glad to be home!
Stella was a member of the LDS church.
Stella will live in our hearts forever. She also made the best afghans this side of the Mississippi River.
